came with polished/clear coated outer lip, if you scratched the lip I would have them professionally refinished. you'll never get the right finish doing it at home, besides the fact that the clearcoat has to be high temp and scratch resistant as well as UV resistant so they don't turn yellow on you.
The color it all depends on taste, mine are silver and my Z is platinum so they go well, you could go either gunmetal/graphite or silver. I would'nt go black.
